I
I
I
I
I
I

I
I
I
I
I
i
I
I
I
I
I
[

-Concerns-

The Concernedicitizens of Golden Eagle Estates have the following
concerns:

Dellwood~ills Addition Traffic

Our firs~ concern is the increase in traffic past our homes. The
section 6f 171st Ave. N. W. that links Bison Street to Zeolite
Street (~ee graphic on last page) currently serves as the route
of choice! for the present homeowners on Bison Street to go south
to Variol~te Street.

The alternative is to go north on Bison Street, to County Road
63, east to Variolite Street, and then south.

Subsequently, with more homes being built along Bison, the
traffic flow will obviously increase.

We feel t~at this increase would have an adverse affect on our
neighborhgod, considering the number of families with young
children, iunder the age of 12.

Along the iroute !71st to Zeolite to 169th, 17 out of 22 homes,
have childiren under the age of 12.

More trafflic just means a greater risk of a child getting hurt.

Our neighborhood streets are curved and right angled and
consequently not made for through traffic.

Future Development Traffic

Our second, concern is that the nine homes, from the proposed
Dellwood Hills Addition, may not appear to pose much of a traffic
problem, hdwever we would disagree. Nine homes means another 18
cars going ito and from work every day, not counting additional
trips.

There is considerable land to the south of the proposed
developmentland when that land is developed into residential
housing ,th~ traffic through our neighborhood will increase even
more.
