I <br /> I <br /> i <br /> I <br /> ! <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> CASE # O~ <br /> <br />REQUI~.ST FOR FINAL PLAT APPROVAL OF ALPINE ADDITION; <br /> CASE OF WASTE MANAGEMENT OF MINNESOTA, INC. <br /> AND THE CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> By: Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />As you know, tl~ere was an agreement between Waste Management of Minnesota, Inc. and the <br />City of Ramsey ~herein it was stated that if the land.fill was not developed as a ski hill, then Waste <br />Management wc~uld deed approximately 50 acres to the City of Ramsey on the north side of the <br />landfill. The ski~hill development was not feasible and through negotiations with the City, Waste <br />Management will be deeding approximately 100 acres to the City. Waste Management and the City <br />are platting the pioperty to facilitate the conveyance of property to the City. <br /> <br />The following it.s are enclosed for your information: <br /> <br />a) <br />b) <br />c) <br />d) <br />e) <br /> <br />Si.ie location map <br />P/~posed final plat <br />C!~ty Staff review letter dated March 22, 1995 <br />Resolution for final plat approval <br />Prbposed development agreement <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The two outlots oB the north side of 153rd will be deeded to the City for future development. Lots <br />1 and 2 will be ~eeded t6 the City for park development. Lot 3 will be retained by Waste <br />Management of ~lg~innesota, Inc. to fulfill their obligation to provide a 300 foot wide buffer between <br />the toe of the SlOl~e and Ramsey's property. City Staff recommends that this Lot 3 be designated <br />as an ouflot to cle~ly identify that it is not considered buildable. <br /> <br />RecommendatiOn: <br /> <br />City Staff recommends final plat approval with Lot 3 changed to an outlot. <br /> <br /> Councill Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Adopt Res <br />upon cornt <br />developme <br /> <br />olution g95-03- granting final plat approval to Alpine Addition contingent <br />~liance with City Staff Review LEtter dated March 22, 1995 and entering into a <br />at agreement with the City. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />CC: <br /> <br />City Engineer <br />City Attorney <br /> <br />3/28/95 <br /> <br /> <br />
