MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT 1) Condition of Premises Councilmember P~terson ca/led attention to rite condition of the property formally known as the Hunt's Bus ~ompany property. He referred to it as a salvage yard with 10 to 15 cars there in various stages of dismantle. 2) ReeodifieBtion Councilmember P~erson inquiring about updating the City Code. Attorney Goodricl~ stated that the version in general circulation is dated 12/90. Staff has periodically updat~l the code by including and compiling ordinances Council has adopted. He commented ox the historical notes at the end of the chapters as being a good system. He continued thatlin 1992, Council authorized him to revise the code - it has been done through Chapter 81 He recommended that what's available now be printed and added that updating the code~ is an on-going process. Chapter 9 is the zoning code which is kept pretty current. 3) Workshop City Administrator Schroeder stated that City Council scheduled a workshop continuation for April 3, 1995 a~. 6:30 p.m. Mayor Hardin and Councilmember Beahcn will be unable to attend; however, sl0me residents have been notified of the meeting because of their interest in discussion of We assessment policy. He commented that even though two members would be absent, p~rhaps the schedule should remain as is. Consensus was that the workshop would still be held on April 3. Councilmembers Zimmerman suggested accesses on Highway g47 should be discussed at the workshop. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Counciknember Beyer to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Beahen, Beyer, Peterson and Zimmerman. Voting No: None.
