Development Coordinato
Ownership of Outlots E and B of Tooth Acres

Council's Comprehensive Land Use Plan workshop, a question as to the
ownership of Otitlots E and B of Tooth Acres was raised. As you are aware, these outlots are
shown as the bridge approach for the easterly bridge alignment. Planning Commission member
Deemer erroneously informed the City Council that these outlots were not owned by Anoka
County and that the County only had an option to purchase them.

Mr. Martin contacted the City on Thursday March 9, 1995, to discuss the pending land use plan
changes. During this discussion, Mr. Martin informed me that when Tooth Acres was platted,
Anoka County ptlrchased both of the outlots, in addition to the outlots bordering the fiver. This is
further supported by the tax records showing both of these lots having a tax exempt status and
being owned by t~e Anoka County Highway Department.

Should you have !my questions concerning this matter, please do not hesitate to contact me.
