I <br />! <br /> <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />STUDY ON IM <br />OF BISON STR1 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #95-05 <br /> <br />[ECEIVING PETITION AND CALLING FOR A FEASIBILITY <br />PROVEMENT PROJECT #95-16 (BITUMINOUS SURFACING <br />gET BETWEEN 171ST AVENUE AND 173RD AVENUE) <br /> <br /> WHEREA~, the City has received a petition for a feasibility study to consider the <br />improvement of bituminous surfacing of Bison Street between 171st Avenue and 173rd Avenue; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct percentage <br />of lawful signatures!of affected property owners; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accordance with the <br />City Charter and Mi~anesota Statutes concerning local improvements. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That a certain petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the improvement of <br />bituminous surfacing of Bison Street between 171st Avenue and 173rd Avenue has been <br />filed with th~ City Council on May 9, 1995. The petition is hereby declared to be signed <br />by the required percentage of affected property owners. This declaration is made in <br />conformity $City of Ramsey Code Section 4.60 and Minnesota Statute Chapter 429. <br /> <br />That the pe '~'~.~on is hereby referred to Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, and he is instructed <br />to prepare aifeasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the <br />Council in a~preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to <br />the cost of the project to each affected property owner.
