I I I I I I '1 I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION ~95-05- RESOLUTION I~ECEIVING PETITION AND CALLING FOR A FEASIBILITY STUDY ON I~M_~ROVEMENT PROJECT #95-17 (EXTENSION OF SANITARY SEWER AND WATER TO THE PROPOSED RIVER'S BEND 4TH ADDITION) WHEREAS, the City has received a petition for a feasibility study to consider the improvement of thc extension of sanitary sewer and water to the proposed River's Bend 4th Addition; and WHEREAS~, the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct percentage of lawful signatures ~f affected property owners; and WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accordance with the City Charter and Mihnesota Statutes concerning local improvements. NOW THEREFO~RE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That a certain petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the improvement of the extension oflsanitary sewer and water to the proposed River's Bend 4th Addition has been filed with thp City Council on May 9, 1995. The petition is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of affected property owners. This declaration is made in conformity tO City of Ramsey Code Section 4.60 and Minnesota Statute Chapter 429. 2) That the peti,tion is hereby referred to Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, and he is instructed to prepare aifeasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to the cost of t~e project to each affected property owner. The City Engineer shall also comment aslto whether it should best be done as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement. 3) That the above mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Improvement Project ~95- The motion for the ~option of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and ~pon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: [ and the following abstmned: and the following wore absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 9th day of May, !1995.
