I I I I Councilmember adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved for its RESOLUTION #95-05- RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS SPECIFICATIO~IS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #95-07 (SEALCOAT AND CRACK DELLWOOD HILLS) AND FOR FILL WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Ramsey City Council on April 25, 1995, the City Engi,heer has prepared contract documents and specifications for the sealcoating and crack filling of Del!wood Hills, and has presented such contract documents and specifications to the Council for approval. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, A~qOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) That such cgntract documents and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part'hereof, are hereby approved. 2) That the City Administrator shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in the Congtruction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvemei~t under such approved contract documents and specifications. The advertisemoht shall be published for 21 days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids wiJ~ll be received by the City Administrator until 2:00 p.m. on June 7, 1995, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center by the City Engineer and the City Clerk (or their representatives), will then be tabulated, abd will be considered by the Ramsey City Council at 7:00 p.m. on June 13, 1995 in thei Council Chambers. Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during consideration of the bid will be given an opportunity to address the Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids will be considered unless se_a, led and filed with the City Adrninistra~r and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier s check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City of Ramsey for five (5) percent of the amount of such bid. The motion for the _adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and gpon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following al~stained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resc~lution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 9th day of May,[ 1995.
