I I I I I I I I I I I I ! :1 I I I I I Councilmember adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved for its RESOLUTION g95-05- RESOLUTIONi APPROVING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR IMPROVEMEN~ PROJECT #95-09 (BITUMINOUS OVERLAY SPORTS HAVEN/ CAROL ROSE 3~CRES ADDITIONS) WHEREA~, Pursuant to a resolution passed by the Ramsey City Council on April 25, 1995, the City Engineer has prepared contract documents and specifications for the bituminous overlaying of Spots Haven/Carol Rose Acres Additions, and has presented such contract documents and spec~ffications to the Council for approval. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) That such cgntract documents and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part l~ereof, are hereby approved. 2) That the City Administrator shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in the Con: truction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improveme:at under such approved contract documents and specifications. The advertiseme:~t shall be published for 21 days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the City Administrator until 2:00 p.m. on June 7, 1995, at which time t hey will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center by tle City Engineer and the City Clerk (or their representatives), will then be tabulated, m d will be considered by the Ramsey City Council at 7:00 p.m. on June 13, 1995 in theICouncil Chambers. Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during consideratiog of the bid will be given an opportunity to address the Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Administrat.~>r and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payab!e to the City of Ramsey for five (5) percent of the amount of such bid.
