I I i I i I CASE # I INTRODUCE PROPOSED ORDINANCE VACATING DRAINAGE & UTILITY EASEMENTSi ALONG THE FORMER SOUTHERLY LOT LINE OF LOT 2, BLOCK 4, NORTHFORK LINKS ADDITION. By: 'ames Gromberg, Economic Development Coordinator Background: The owner of Lot 1 Block 2, Northfork Links Second Addition has requested the vacation of the traditional 5-foot wi de drainage and utility easements on both sides of a portion of the southern lot line. The property }wner has applied for and received an Administrative Subdivision to move the lot line to facilitate ~a lot combination. The owners of both the affected properties have provided new drainage and u~ility easements along the newly created lot line. Enclosed for your review is the following infor~ation: 1) Public hearing notice 2) Site location map 3) List ~f properties notified 4) Propl~sed ordinance vacating drainage and utility easements. If this proposed or.tlinance is adopted, the City will record the vacation so that deeds for the affected properties ~ill reflect the vacation. The City will also provide a certified copy of the ordinance to the property owners who are affected by the vacation. Recommendation: The City Staff recommends vacation of the drainage and utility easements described as follows: The Northeasterly 5 feet of Lot 1, Block 2, Northfork Links Second Addition and the Southwesterly 5 feet of that part of Lot 2, Block 4, Northfork Links Addition lying Westerly or, the Northeasterly extension of the Northwesterly line of Lot 1, Block 4, Northfork Links Addition. Council Action:' Motion to introduce i Ordinance g95-_ authorizing vacation of the drainage and utility easements dedicated along the Southerly lot line of Lot 2, Block 4, Northfork Links Addition.
