You mentioned that you have had plans to remodel this home for quite some <br />time and, in fact, have a meeting scheduled with the architect on February 4, 1995. The intent of <br />this meeting is to go over interior remodeling plans. <br /> <br />You mentioned that your intent is to reorient the house so that the old rear of the property now <br />becomes the front. Further, that you will be adding a garage and a 4' x t6' addition to the front of <br />the hodse. Your interior remodeling plans include moving the kitchen to the upper level, <br />remodeling the dining room, master bedroom, and general updating. <br />While ~ou had intended to start this project last summer, you now expect it to be completed during <br />the summer of 1995. As such, you have previously notified the tenants that they are to vacate the <br />property by the end of February 1995. <br /> <br />On January 27, 1995, you were notified of the City's intent to withhold payment on the Tax <br />Increment Revenue note until this property is in compliance with all provisions of the 1991 <br />Development Agreement and City Code. We further discussed the formula for repayment of the <br />note in :this and future years. Regarding the formula, Finance Officer Jessie Hart will be working <br />with the County and the three developers to clarify any discrepancies in repayment calculations. <br />Regarding the default on the Development Agreement, upon the above assurances, we will <br />maintaining an escrow account in the mount of 150 percent of expected driveway construction <br />costs from the proceeds of the Revenue Note. The construction is estimated at $1,200; therefore; <br />the balance, minus $1,800, is being forwarded to you at this time ($1,200 x 150%). <br /> <br />Thank you for your cooperation and understanding regarding the above.
