I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> ! <br /> ! <br /> I <br /> I <br /> ! <br /> ! <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />i <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #95-05-_ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING PETITION AND CALLING FOR A FEASIBILITY <br />STUDY ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #95-15 (MUNICIPAL SANITARY <br />SEWER AND WATER EXTENSION TO THE PROPOSED SUBDIVISION OF <br />RUM RIVER PLAZA) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has received a petition for a feasibility study to consider the <br />improvement of mufhieipal sanitary sewer and water extension to the proposed subdivision of Rum <br />River Plaza; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct percentage <br />of lawful signatures of affected property owners; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accordance with the <br />City Charter and Mii~nesota Statutes concerning local improvements. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That a certa~in petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the improvement of <br /> municipal s~itary sewer and water extension to the proposed subdivision of Rum River <br /> Plaza has b~en filed with the City Council on May 23, 1995. The petition is hereby <br /> declared to be signed by the required percentage of affected property owners. This <br /> declaration i~ made in conformity to City of Ramsey Code Section 4.60 and Minnesota <br /> Statute Chapter 429. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />,3) <br /> <br />That the peri[ion is hereby referred to Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, and he is instructed <br />to prepare a ffeasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the <br />Council in apreliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to <br />the cost of the project to each affected property owner. The City Engineer shall also <br />comment as ;to whether it should best be done as proposed or in conjunction with some <br />other unprovement. <br /> <br />That the above mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Improvement Project g95- <br />18. <br /> <br />The motion for the atloprion of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and ~pon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following wore absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted"by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 23rd day of Mayi 1995. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
