I I Councilmember its adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved for RESOLUTION SPECIFICATIO~ IMPROVEMEN~I SANITARY SEW RESOLUTION #95-05- APPROVING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND IS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR PROJECT #95-13 (RAMSEY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL ER AND WATERMAIN EXTENSION) WHEREAS~ pursuant to a motion passed by the Ramsey City Council on February 14, 1995, the City Engineer has prepared contract documents and specifications for the Ramsey Elementary School isanitary sewer and watermain extension and has presented such contract documents and specifications to the Council for approval. NOW THEREFOI~E, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) That such cofltract documents and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a pan t/ere, of, are hereby approved. 2) That the CityiAdministrator shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvemen~ under such approved contract documents and specifications. The advertisemeni shall be published for 21 days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids willlbe received by the City Administrator until 2:00 p.m. on June 23, 1995, at which time ~ey will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center by th~ City Engineer and the City Clerk (or their representatives), will then be tabulated, an~l will be considered by the Ramsey City Council at 7:00 p.m. on June 27, 1995 in the Council Chambers. Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during considerafioniof the bid will be given an opportunity to address the Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Administratot' and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payabl6 to the City of Ramsey for five (5) percent of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resol~tion was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 23rd day of May, 11995.
