I I I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #95-05-_ RESOLUTION RECEIVING PETITION AND CALLING FOR A FEASIBILITY STUDY ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #95-19 (EXTENSION OF SANITARY SEWER AND WATER TO THE PROPOSED PLAT OF DEAL INDUSTRIAL PARK) WHEREA~, the City has received a petition for a feasibility study to consider the improvement of th~ extension of sanitary sewer and water to the proposed plat of Deal Industria! Park; and WHEREA~], the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct percentage of lawful signatures!of affected property owners; and WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accordance with the City Charter and Mi.hnesota Statutes concerning local improvements. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That a certain petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the improvement of the extension of!sanitary sewer and water to the proposed plat of Deal Industrial Park has been filed with th{ City Council on May 23, 1995. The petition is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of affected property owners. This declaration is made in conformity t6 City of Ramsey Code Section 4.60 and Minnesota Statute Chapter 429.' 2) That the petition is hereby referred to Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, and he is instructed to prepare a ifeasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to the cost of the project to each affected property owner. The City Engineer shall also comment as ~to whether it should best be done as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement. 3) That the above mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Improvement Project g95- 19. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and Opon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following vot~ed against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resol'ution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 23rd day of May~ I995.
