I <br />I <br /> <br />CASE # <br /> <br />PROBOSED BITUMINOUS PAVING OF BISON STREET <br />F~ROM 171ST AVENUE TO COUNTY ROAD #63 <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #95-16 <br /> By: Steven Jankowski, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />A petition for biturrdnous paving was received and certified on May 9, 1995, by three properties <br />fronting on the se_~g~_ent of Bison Street between 171st Avenue and County Road #63. City <br />Council directed that~a feasibility study for the proposed improvement be prepared. This feasibility <br />study was prepared ~d sent to City Council on May 23, 1995. A copy of that feasibility study has <br />been included in this case and has also been sent to all property owners identified as being <br />benefitted by this prdject. <br /> <br />As a result of comments at tonight's public hearing, Council shall determine whether any <br />modifications should, be made to the feasibility study which shall become the basis for constructing <br />and financing the prq~ject. Citizens should be advised that they have 60 days from the date of the <br />closing of the public hearing to present a petition, signed by the majority of the benefitted <br />prop erties, opp osin g~!the improvement . If no such petition is received within that time period,, the <br />City Council will hag:e the discretion on whether the project shall proceed onto construction. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />No action is requiredlunless modifications to the feasibility study are requested. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br />City Engineer <br /> <br />CC:06/13/95 <br /> <br />Copies distributed to: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />Finance Officer <br /> <br /> <br />
