Schroeder, City Administrator~j Mayor and Council Bill Goodrich, City Attorney Comprehensive Plan Input Recen}ly, the Ramsey City Council received your memorandums expressing concerns regarding the most recent comprehensive plan update. On Wednesday, May 10, 1995, the CounCil met to address these issues and to respond to the input received. The COuncil has determined that additional information would be helpful. The Council has asked me to provide the factual material to support the specific assertions, contained within these memorandums, regarding staff provision of data or the various pieces of analysis provided to the Commissions. I believe Council sees this fact-gathering process as an opportunity to improve informatiOn delivery to the Commissions and the public at large. Perhaps, there is a positive outcome from this past year of mending our methods or processes to the benefit of all players. To that end, the Council has requested that you be .afforded the opportunity to provide the .requeSted background materials. They have asked that, should you desire to, this be done m a written format and addressed to the City Attorney by May 19, 1995. Mr. Goodrich will t~en review this material for any legal concerns. This will be followed by a staff response to the City Council. This staff response may be from an individual staff member or input from other staff positions may be requested as well.
