1 Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: ' RESOLUTION #95 -06 -_ 1 RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND SPECIFICATIOkS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #94 -20 (THE EXTENSION OF SANITARY SEWER AND WATER JO THE PROPOSED ANOKA ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE ' FACILITY AND j'ENERGY PARK ADDITION) WHEREAS -, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Ramsey City Council on September 1 27, 1994, the City Ffpgineer has prepared contract documents and specifications for the extension of sanitary sewer ano water to the proposed Anoka Electric Cooperative Facility and Energy Park Addition and has pr ,sented such contract documents and specifications to the Council for approval. 1 NOW THEREFOftE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ATE OKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) That such contract documents and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part Hereof, are hereby approved. 2) That the City Administrator shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved contract documents and specifications. The advertiseme4t shall be published for at least 21 days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state th t bids will be received by the City Administrator until 11:00 a.m. on July 21, 1995, at whiO time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Conter by the City Engineer and a Recording Secretary, will then be tabulated, and will be donsidered by the Ramsey City Council at 7:00 p.m. on July 25, 1995, in the Council Chambers. Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during consideration of the bid will be given an opportunity to address the Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids wil be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Administrator and accompani r by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City of Ramsey for five (5) percent of the amount of such bid. The motion for the option of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and pon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following vo�ed against the same: and the following ab�tained: and the following were absent: t whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 27th day of June', 1995.
