el 1 Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: ' RESOLUTION #95 -06 -_ RESOLUTION i APPROVING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #95 -15 (THE CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWER, WATEiMAIN, STORM SEWER AND STREETS TO SERVICE THE ' PROPOSED FOXY KNOLL DEVELOPMENT) WHEREAS pursuant to a resolution passed by the Ramsey City Council on September 27, 1994, the City Engineer has prepared contract documents and specifications for the improvement of the ponstruction of sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer and streets to service the proposed Fox !_Knoll development and has presented such contract documents and ' specifications to the buncil for approval. NOW THEREFO E, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY ' OF RAMSEY, A OKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: tract documents and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and 1) That such con made a part Hereof, are hereby approved. 2) That the City Administrator shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improverner t under such approved contract documents and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for at least 21 days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the City Administrator until 11:00 a.m. on July 21, 1995, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal C�nter by the City Engineer and a Recording Secretary, will then be tabulated, and will be nsidered by the Ramsey City Council at 7:00 p.m. on July 25, 1995, in the Council Ch*bers. Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during consideration of the bid will Oe given an opportunity to address the Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Administrator and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City of Ramsey for five (5) percent of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following ab3tained: and the following woe absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 27th day of June; 1995.
