CASE # ?, <br />' INTRODUCE' PROPOSED ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF THE <br />DRAINAGE & UTILITY EASEMENTS ACROSS THE EASTERN PORTION OF <br />LOTS 10 AND 11, BLOCK 1, NORTHFORK HIGHLANDS ADDITION. <br />By: james Gromberg, Economic Development Coordinator <br />Background: <br />The Developers of orthfork Highlands Addition have requested the vacation of a portion of the <br />drainage and utility asement that covers the eastern portion of.lots 10 and 11. The City Engineer <br />' has reviewed the proposed vacation and indicted that there is sufficient area remaining for drainage <br />requirements. Enclo ed for your review is the following information: <br />1) Publio hearing notice <br />' 2) Site 1 ation map <br />3) List of properties notified <br />4) Map howing area to be vacated <br />5) <br />Prop ed ordinance vacating drainage and utility easements. <br />If this proposed ordinance is adopted, the City will record the vacation so that deeds for the <br />affected properties *ill reflect the vacation. The City will also provide a certified copy of the <br />' ordinance to the prop" owners who are affected by the vacation. <br />Recommendation:, <br />The City Staff recgm�nends vacation of the drainage and utility easements described as follows: <br />All that part of Lots 10 and 11, Block 1, NORTHFORK HIGHLANDS ADDITION, <br />according to the plat on record in the Anoka County Courthouse, Anoka County, <br />Minnesota, w iich lies northerly, easterly and southerly of the following described line: <br />Beginning at he northwesterly corner of said Lot 10; thence South 25 degrees 41 minutes <br />15 seconds E st (bearings assumed and referenced to said plat) 84.50 feet; thence South 78 <br />degrees 42 rrinutes 22 seconds East 96.31 feet; thence South 1 degree 38 minutes 14 <br />seconds Westt231.08 feet; thence South 15 degrees 18 minutes 44 seconds East 25.99 feet <br />to the souther�y line of said Lot 11, distant 35.44 feet northeasterly of the most southerly <br />corner thereoff!and there terminating. <br />Council Action: <br />Motion to introduce Ordinance #95-_ authorizing vacation of the drainage and utility easements <br />dedicated along the edstem portion of Lot 10 and Lot 11 Block 1 of Northfork Highlands Addition. <br />Reviewed By: <br />' City Administrator <br />City Engineer <br />Economic Development Coordinator <br />' CC:06/27/95 <br />
