CASE # 3 PUBLIC PEARING FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #95 -17 THE CONSTRUCT �.ON OF SANITARY SEWER, WATERMAIN, STORM SEWER Al D STREETS TO RIVERS BEND 4TH ADDITION. By: Steven J. Jankowski, City Engineer Notification: f The benefitted property owners of this project are the developers of the subdivision. They have been notified of this;public hearing and have also received a copy of the feasibility study prior to the meeting. Background: The City Council diricted the City Engineer to prepare, or have prepared, a feasibility study for the extension and construction of Sanitary Sewer, Watermain, Storm Sewer and Streets to Rivers Bend 4th Addition. rThe requested report has been prepared and is attached for your review. In addition, the followi�g items have been included.. 1) Public hearing notice 2) Feasibility Study 3) Price quote from Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. for project engineering 4) Propgsed resolution ordering the project The Developers havi requested that Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. provide the engineering services for the project. The City has reviewed the proposed cost of using the services to complete the project and they fire within the guidelines for the project. All engineering costs will be charged against the project. Because the City his received a petition representing 100 percent of the benefitted property owners, it may adopt [the attached resolution ordering the project this evening. Recommendation:: f The City Staff recommends the adoption of the resolution ordering Improvement Project #95 -17 extension and constrcuction of Sanitary Sewer, Watermain, Storm Sewer and Streets to Rivers Bend 4th Addition. Council Action: Motion to adopt Resolution #95 -OCr� ordering Improvement Project #95 -17 extension and construction of Sanitary Sewer, Watermain, Storm Sewer and Streets to Rivers Bend 4th Addition.
