Economic Development Commission (EDC) conducted a regular meeting on Thursday, May 4, 1995, at Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. Members Prgsent: Chairperson Kenneth Wagner Commissioner Allen Staflci Commissioner Mary Ullen Commissioner Carolyn Nelson Commissioner David Kent (arrived at 6:54 p.m.) Members Absent: Commissioner Sate McGhee Commissioner Mike Marquart CALL TO ORDER Chairperson Wagner called the regular meeting of the EDC to order at 6:40 p.m. APPROVE; AGENDA Motion by Commissioner Ullen and seconded by Commissioner Nelson to approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Wagner, Commissioners Stafki, Nelson and Ullen. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Kent, Marquart, and McGhee. NOTE CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES The City Copncil meeting minutes from February 14, 1995, February 28, 1995, March 6, 1995, March 13, 1995, March 14, 1995, March 21, 1995 and March 28, 1995 were duly noted. COMMISSION BUSINESS Case #1: Ramsey Business Expo Chairperson ;Wagner reviewed the plans for the 1995 Ramsey Business Expo. He stated that currently, the City has received reservations for only a few booths and that we should assign a min `mum number of booths that would be required for the Expo to be conducted. The general onsensus of the EDC was 20 booths for this event. The EDC also requested that City St f provide them with an individual list of businesses to contact if the booth reservations remain "sluggish ". Chairperson Wagner also informed the EDC that the booth and tent contractors are willing to adjust the size of the tent and number of booths based upon our needs.
