PUBLIC HEARING <br />BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Ramsey Board Adjustment conducted a public hearing on Wednesday, May 24, 1995 at the <br />Ramsey Municipal f Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota to hear input <br />regarding Luther Olson's request for a variance to construct an accessory structure nearer the front <br />property line than 6e house at 14840 Bowers Drive N.W. <br />r <br />' Members Present: <br />Chairperson Benjamin Deemer <br />Board Member Terry Hendriksen <br />Board Member Paul Holland <br />Board Member Charles LaDue <br />Board Member Michael Terry <br />Board Member Bradley Thorud <br />Members Absent: � Board Member David Bawden <br />Also Present: Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairperson Deemet called the public hearing to order at 7:05 p.m. <br />PRESENTATION <br />Zoning Administra r Frolik indicated that Mr. Luther Olson is requesting a variance to construct <br />an accessory struct4re nearer the front property line than the house at 14840 Bowers Drive N.W. <br />The variance is necessary because the only reasonable location for a garage on the property is <br />nearer the front pro . erty line than the home because of locations of septic systems, wells, declines <br />in topography and mature tree growth. <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br />Luther and Nancy Olson were present. There was no citizen input. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Motion by Board Member Holland and seconded by Board Member Terry to adjourn the public <br />hearing. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Hendriksen, Board Members Holland, Terry, Deemer, <br />LaDue, andThorudJ Voting No: None.
