' Chairperson Deemer called the regular Board of Adjustment meeting back to order at 7:06 p.m. BOARD BUSINtSS ' Case #1: Request for a Variance to Construct an Accessory Structure Nearer the Front Property Line than the House at 14840 Bowers Drive; Case of Luther Olson Motion by Board ember Thorud and seconded by Board Member Terry to include as a part of the minutes of this me ting a petition submitted from the neighboring property owners to the subject. ' property indicating eir support of the proposed location for the Olson garage. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Deemer, Board Members Thorud, Terry, Hendriksen, ' Holland, and LaDue. Voting No: None. Absent: Board Member Bawden. The Board of Adjustment proceeded to review the Findings of Fact. ' Motion by Board Member Holland and seconded by Board Member Hendriksen to accept Findings of Fact #1 through #12 as presented. ' Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Deemer, Board Members Holland, Hendriksen, LaDue, Terry, and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Board Member Bawden. Motion by Board Member Thorud and seconded by Board Member Hendriksen to amend Findings ' of Fact #13 through; #15 in the affirmative. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Deemer, Board Members Thorud, Hendriksen, ' Holland, LaDue, and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Board Member Bawden. Motion by Chairperson Deemer and seconded by Board Member Hendriksen to add a finding to indicate that the ho` estead originally fronted on Highway #10 and, at a later date when Bowers Drive was construc t een d, what was originally considered the front yard is now considered the side yard, and had it not for that fact the variance would not have been necessary. ' Motion carried Voting Yes: Chairperson Deemer, Board Members Hendriksen, Holland, LaDue, Terry, and Thorud. ,Voting No: None. Absent: Board Member Bawden. ' Motion by Board Member Hendriksen and seconded by Board Member Holland to adopt Resolution #95- 05113 adopting Findings of Fact #0376, as amended, relating to Luther and Nancy Olson's requst for a variance to construct an accessory structure nearer the front property line than the princip d structure. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Deemer, Board Members Hendriksen, Holland, LaDue, Terry, and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Board Member Bawden. The Board of Adjustment proceeded to review the terms of the variance. Motion by Board Member Hendriksen and seconded by Board Member Holland to adopt Resolution #95 -05 -1 14 approving the issuance of a variance to Luther and Nancy Olson at 14840 Bowers Drive N.W. and declaring terms of same. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Deemer, Board Members Hendriksen, Holland, LaDue, Terry, and Thorud. �Vodng No: None. Absent: Board Member Bawden.
