' Chairperson Deemer called the regular Board of Adjustment meeting back to order at 7:06 p.m. <br />BOARD BUSINtSS <br />' Case #1: Request for a Variance to Construct an Accessory Structure Nearer <br />the Front Property Line than the House at 14840 Bowers Drive; Case <br />of Luther Olson <br />Motion by Board ember Thorud and seconded by Board Member Terry to include as a part of the <br />minutes of this me ting a petition submitted from the neighboring property owners to the subject. <br />' property indicating eir support of the proposed location for the Olson garage. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Deemer, Board Members Thorud, Terry, Hendriksen, <br />' Holland, and LaDue. Voting No: None. Absent: Board Member Bawden. <br />The Board of Adjustment proceeded to review the Findings of Fact. <br />' Motion by Board Member Holland and seconded by Board Member Hendriksen to accept Findings <br />of Fact #1 through #12 as presented. <br />' Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Deemer, Board Members Holland, Hendriksen, LaDue, <br />Terry, and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Board Member Bawden. <br />Motion by Board Member Thorud and seconded by Board Member Hendriksen to amend Findings <br />' of Fact #13 through; #15 in the affirmative. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Deemer, Board Members Thorud, Hendriksen, <br />' Holland, LaDue, and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Board Member Bawden. <br />Motion by Chairperson Deemer and seconded by Board Member Hendriksen to add a finding to <br />indicate that the ho` estead originally fronted on Highway #10 and, at a later date when Bowers <br />Drive was construc t een d, what was originally considered the front yard is now considered the side <br />yard, and had it not for that fact the variance would not have been necessary. <br />' Motion carried Voting Yes: Chairperson Deemer, Board Members Hendriksen, Holland, LaDue, <br />Terry, and Thorud. ,Voting No: None. Absent: Board Member Bawden. <br />' Motion by Board Member Hendriksen and seconded by Board Member Holland to adopt <br />Resolution #95- 05113 adopting Findings of Fact #0376, as amended, relating to Luther and <br />Nancy Olson's requst for a variance to construct an accessory structure nearer the front property <br />line than the princip d structure. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Deemer, Board Members Hendriksen, Holland, LaDue, <br />Terry, and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Board Member Bawden. <br />The Board of Adjustment proceeded to review the terms of the variance. <br />Motion by Board Member Hendriksen and seconded by Board Member Holland to adopt <br />Resolution #95 -05 -1 14 approving the issuance of a variance to Luther and Nancy Olson at 14840 <br />Bowers Drive N.W. and declaring terms of same. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Deemer, Board Members Hendriksen, Holland, LaDue, <br />Terry, and Thorud. �Vodng No: None.
