' CONSENT AGENDA MEMO <br />by Chief Auspos- <br />Previously, in action taken as a result of receipt of a COPS- <br />' Fast Grant fromrthe Federal government Ramsey Council approved <br />the hiring of mother officer for the police department with a <br />starting date o� September 1, 1995. As a result of this approval <br />'Staff has proceeded to move forward in the hiring process by <br />' offering the po�ition to Duane Stern. Mr. Stern,was on the list of <br />finalists' when fficer Voit was hired and the list is less than <br />one year old at'Ithis time. <br />The offer f employment will be contingent upon successful <br />' completion of p ysical and psychological examinations.
