PUBLIC HEARINGS Chairperson Bawden adjourned the regular Planning Commission meeting at 7:36 p.m. in order to conduct the following public hearings: Request for a Conditional Use Permit to Store Commercial Landscaping Equipment in the R-1 Rural Residential District; Case of Mike Bahn Request for a Conditional Use Permit to Store Commercial Equipment in the R-1 Rural Residential District; Case of Don Godden Request for a Conditional Use Permit to Grade and Export Soils; Case of North Fork, Inc. Request for a Conditional Use Permit for Grading Soils; Case of North Fork, Inc. Request for a Conditional Use Permit to Expand the Grace Community Bible Church Facility in the R-1 Residential District; Case of Grace Community Bible Church Chairperson Bawden called the regular Planning Commission meeting back to order at 8:50 p.m. COMMISSION BUSINESS Case #1: Request for a Conditional Use Permit to Store Commercial Landscaping Equipment in the R-1 Rural Residential District; Case of Mike Bahn Commissioner Deemer inquired as to who was notified of the public hearing on this matter, and Zoning Administrator Frolik explained that everyone along both routes which the applicant uses to get to T.H. 4/47 were notified. The Planning Commission proceeded to review the Findings of Fact. COnsensus of the Planning Commission was to accept #1 through #10 as presented. MOtion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to amend #11 to read "That the proposed use will not be detrimental to persons residing or working in the vicinity of the use or to the public welfare because of noise, odors or visual impact generated by the use of the equipment." Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, LaDue, Hendriksen, and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Holland and Terry. Motion by Commissioner Thorud and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to amend #12 to read "That the proposed use will not substantially adversely impair the use, enjoyment or market value of any surrounding properties because of noise, odor or visual impact. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Thorud, LaDue, Deemer, and Hendriksen. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Holland and Terry. Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to amend #13 to read "That the proposed use will not be harmonious and in accordance with any specific objectives of the Comprehensive Plan."
