OTHER COSTS <br /> <br />In addition to the costs identified in the previous section, the property owner will incur various <br />additional cost at the time new buildings are connected to the sewer and water utilities. These cost <br />include latera2 services, Water AvaiIabiLity Charges (WAC), which is collected by the municipality <br />to defray the depreciation costs of the water system, and a Sewer Availability Charge (SAC), <br />which is colIected by the City to be paid to the Meu'opolitan Council Wastewater Division to defray <br />the cost of reserved capacity designed into the treatment and transmission facility. The amount of <br />those WAC and SAC charges are determined based on the amount of water usage. One WAC and <br />SAC unit is designed to be the equivalent of a single family residential wastewater generator.
