A feasibility study has been pr,~,pared which
identifies the b~nefitted property owners, of which all have been sent a copy of the study.
Since the City ~ntered into an agreement to relocate the roadway, it is proposed that the City
would finance this cost. The assessable project would be reduced by $5,480 from the total
project cost. Itiis proposed that the project's assessable costs be divided equally among the
six benefitted ~roperties. Each of those parcels would be responsible for $5,962. The City
had agreed to ~ccept an amount of $9,430 from the developer of Dellwood Hills as full
payment for ~e paving of Bison Street for the benefit to parcels two and three. It is
therefore propr~sed that the City would contribute the difference of $494 between the
amount escrow~ed and the amount due for these two parcels.

Mayor Pro temPeterson closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:11 p.m.
in order to conduct the public hearing.

Public Hear!ng
Citizen Inpu~

Patricia Dusbabek, 7821 - 171st Avenue N.W., Ramsey, expressed concern with the
paving of the ~street and the traffic in her neighborhood. She stated they have made
numerous prop~osals to alleviate traffic and have even mentioned they would be willing to
put in money ,to pave Bison if their street is closed off. "This is a very important issue to
us - we will not go away until the traffic does".

Larry Sandersl 17135 Bison Street N.W., Ramsey, stated he lives north of 171st. Every
car that goes WY Dusbabek's house goes past his house. He did not have a problem with
the traffic. H~ expressed a wish that the City could come up with more money for the
paving. He s~ted he is not willing to pay $5,000 for it. He added that they would all like
to have it pave~ but for a less amount - $3,500 to $4,000 would be more logical.

Motion by Cooncilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to close
the public hearing.

Motion carded.
