I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #95-07- RESOLUTION GALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE MODIFICATION OF DEVELOPh~ENT DISTRICT NO. 1 AND THE ESTABLISHMENT OF TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT NO. 6 AND A TIF PLAN THEREFORE WHEREAS,, the City of Ramsey ("City") has contemplated using tax increment financing CTIF") in order to!facilitate development of certain property in the City (the "Development") pursuant to Minm Stat. Sections 469.124 to 469.134 and Sections 469.174 to 469.179 (collectively, the "A~ts"); and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined to consider the modification of Development Dist~ct No. 1 and the establishment of TIF. District No. 6 and to hold a public hearing thereon in a{ecordance with the Acts. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ~NOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. That the C~ty Administrator is authorized and directed to cause to be prepared a Developmegt Program for the modified Development District No. 1 and the TIF Plan for TIF Distric~ No. 6 in connection with the Development, and to file a copy of such documents in City Hall. 2. That the City Administrator is authorized and directed to prepare a notice for Publication.in the City's official newspaper, setting a public hearing before the City Council on August 22, 1995, al 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers on the Development Program and TIF Plan. The gotice shall be published in the newspaper at least 10, but not more than 30, days prior tq5 the public hearing, and shall include a map of the Development District and proposed TIF District. 3. That the Cit~ Administrator is authorized and directed to transmit a copy of the TIF Plan to the County ~Board and School Board and to take all other actions necessary to bring the Developme:ht Program and T1F Plan before the City Council at the time of the public hearing. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember andiupon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following Were absent: whereupon said res~)lution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 25th day of Julia, 1995.
