I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> i <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> i <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember [ <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />5) <br /> <br />6) <br /> <br />7) <br /> <br />introduc~ the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #95-07- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AI~OPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # RELATING TO AN <br />AMENDMENT TO THE DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE RUM RIVER HILLS <br />PLANNED UNIT !DEVELOPMENT (PUD) <br /> WHEREAS,i Rum River Hills, Inc. hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", applied for <br />site plan approval tO construct a Golf Course maintenance building on the property legally <br />described as follows:' <br /> <br /> Outlot G, Ru~ River Hills, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> WHEREAS~ on June 6, 1995, the City of Ramsey Planning Commission directed City <br />Staff to schedule a ~ublic hearing to consider an amendment to the development plan for the <br />planned unit develop/;nent and site plan approval to specifically allow for the establishment of a golf <br />course maintenance l~uilding. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF RAMSEY, A~OKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That on December 11, 1984, by Resolution #84-240, the City Council approved the f'mal <br /> developmentlplan of the Rum River Hills PUD. That approval was proceeded by the <br /> appropriate pOblic hearings and notification. <br />2) That the finai development plan approved by the City Council provides, in part, that the <br /> I · <br /> nslst an <br /> project will of 18 hole public golf course, single family residential lots, multi- <br /> family hous ~ and rural commercial development space. <br /> <br />3) That with regard to the golf course development, the final development plan provided that <br /> "there will aLq, o likely be an out-building in which to store power carts". <br /> <br /> That the Apl~licant proposes to construct the maLntenance building on a portion of the <br /> Southwest c0ruer of Outlot G, adjacent to Trunk Highway g47 and immediately north of <br /> Lots 1, 2 and_r 3, Block 1, Rum River Acres. <br /> <br /> That the ApP21icant is applying to amend the Rum River Hills Planned Unit Development <br /> plan to specifically permit construction of a golf course maintenance building on a portion <br /> of the PUD ahd in addition, pursuant to applicable City Code requirements, the Applicant is <br /> also applyin~ for site plan approval. <br /> <br /> That the applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing on June <br /> 21, 1995, anqt that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated as a part of <br /> these finding~ by reference. <br /> <br /> That the Plafined Unit Development amendment is consistent with the initial PUD plan <br /> approval in ~at a maintenance building is a reasonable accessory use for the principal golf <br /> course use. <br /> <br />8) <br /> <br />That the entire site (structure and parking area) being removed from the open space <br />th~:refore coasists of 7,380 square feet or approximately .16 acre. The entire open space <br />that compris,es the golf course only consists of 115 acres and the proposed use th~ .'efore <br />will be remo¥ing .075 percent of the open space. <br /> <br /> <br />
