I <br />! <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />Councilmember i <br /> <br />inu'oduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION /195-07- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FOI~ A HOME OCCUPATION ON THE PR-O-P-ERTY GENERALLY <br />KNOWN AS 14794 KRYPTON COURT N.W. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Diane Dempsey, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly applied <br />for a Home Occupation to conduct doll-making classes on the property generally known as 14794 <br />Krypton Court N.w. and legally described as follows: <br /> <br /> Lot 5, Block 3, WOOD POND HILLS 3RD ADDITION; Anoka County, State of <br /> <br />CITY <br />1. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />(the "Subje~, t Property") <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />That the A~plicant appeared before the Planning and Zoning Commission for a public <br />hearing pur~. uant to Section 9.03.04 (Conditional Use Permits) and Section 9.11.04 (Home <br />Occupations) of the Ramsey City Code on May 3, 1994 and that said public hearing was <br />properly a4vertised and that the minutes of said public hearing were incorporated into <br />Findings of Fact g0362 by reference. <br /> <br />That in thelabsence of neighbors in the newly developing n. eighborhood, the Ramsey City <br />Council gr6nted an interim use permit for the home occupatton for a one year period. <br /> <br />That in acCt°rdance with the terms of the interim use permit issued on May 3, 1994, the <br />Applicant I~as reapplied for a home occupation permit. <br /> <br />That the A4pplicant reappeared before the Planning Commission for a public heating <br />pursuant t.~ Section 9.03.04 (Conditional Use Permits) and Section 9.11..04 (Home <br />Occupation. s) of the Ramsey City Code on July 5, 1995 and that said public hearing was <br />properly arlvertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated as a <br />part of thesle findings by reference. <br /> <br />That the s~bject property is zoned R-1 Urban Residential and is approximately 13,000 <br />square feet!in size. <br /> <br />That cornrdercial activities are not a permitted use in the R-1 Urban Residential District. <br />That the subject property is surrounded by R-I Urban Residential zoning. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has provided documentation to support that the home occupation will be <br />conducted ~vithin the private dwelling on the property and that the area set aside for the <br />home occupation dc '~ not exceed 20% of the total floor area of the private dwelling. <br /> ; <br />That the Applicant will reside at the location of the proposed home occupation. <br /> <br />That the A[Splicant has stated that the home occupation will not include any employment of <br />persons not residing in the private dwelling in the performance of the home occupation. <br /> <br />That the A. P. plicant has stated that there will be no exterior storage of business equipment <br />and materials. <br /> <br /> <br />
