Becky Lemke <br />14361 Uranium Street N.W. <br />Ramsey, MN 55303 <br /> <br />We have been attending various Ramsey City Council meetings since October 1985, <br />and at those meetings we have expressed concerns and opinions on a cavalcade of <br />issues. Among ~hem, landfill activities, development issues and the road and <br />drainage situation in Hunter's Hilt. <br /> <br />In all that time~ we~ve been very conscious of coming to meetings prepared with <br />SOLID facts relating directly to the issues that concerned us. <br /> <br />I am here tonight to express another group of constituents thoughts about the <br />statements made about Mayor Hardin. <br /> <br />These accusations are seen as yellow journalistic tactics, employed to discredit <br />the Mayor that ~order on slander and should not be given credibility unless <br />backed up by a s~lid set of facts, NOT suspicion and ~OT feelings. <br /> <br />These accusations are frivolous and without merit and lack a factual basis. <br /> <br />Lending city funds or credibility to factless, baseless statements or accusations <br />is contemptible ~and unconscionable. <br /> <br /> <br />
