Coud~ilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #95-07-_ RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #95-15 (CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWER, WATERMAIN, STORM SEWER AND STREETS TO SERVICE FOX KNOLL) WHEREAS, Resolution ~/95-06-139 authorized the preparation of plans and spec~cations for the above referenced work; and i WHEREAs, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer and streets to service Fox Knoll, bids were received, opened and tabulated accoi'ding to law on July 21, 1995; and WHEREAS, the following quotes were received Bidder Amount of Bid I I I I I I I Engineer's Estimate AND WHEREAS, it appears that is the lowest responsible bidder. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OFiiRAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) 2) That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with in the name of the City of Ramsey for the construction of sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer and streets to service Fox Knoll in the amount of That the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders .the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next to lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
