Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing closed at 7:13 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin oalled the regular portion of the City Council meeting back to order at 7:13 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Co~ncilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to <br />introduce the orCnance authorizing vacation of the drainage and utility easements dedicated <br />along the southerly lot line of Lot 2, Block 4, Northfork Links Addition. <br /> <br />Motion carded.: Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Beahen, Beyer <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br /> equest for Final Plat Approval of Fox Knoll; Case of Rick <br /> urray, Residential Development Company <br /> <br />Zoning Admini~;trator Frolik stated that Rick Murray of Residential Development Company <br />is requesting fiOai plat approval of Fox Knoll. The plat consists of 23 acres proposed to be <br />subdivided int~ 22 lots that will be served by sanitary sewer and municipal water. Street <br />access to the lob will be provided by an extension of 151st Lane N.W. which will result in <br />exceeding the 600-foot maximum dead end street length. This over-extended cul-de-sac <br />was approved al the time of preliminary plat approval. Another cul-de-sac will be extended <br />north off of 15 l!st to access the remainder of the developable property. Park dedication will <br />consist of a combination of trail development and cash. Ms. Frolik added that in response <br />to concerns exp~'essed for the adjacent Environmental Learning Area at Ramsey Elementary <br />School, the trail will not be extended south of 151st Lane to the school property. The <br />improvements xJvill be installed as a public improvement project. <br /> <br />Motion by Cotlncilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to adopt <br />Resolution #95-05-097 granting final plat approval to Fox Knoll contingent upon the <br />developer compliance with City Staff Review Letter dated May 2, 1995, and entering into a <br />development agreement with the City. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Peterson and Beahen. <br />Voting No: Co,dncilmembers Beyer and Zimmerman. <br /> <br />Case #3: Award Contract for the Construction of Ramsey Business Park <br /> 95 Public Improvements <br /> <br />City Engineer J'ankowski stated the improvements proposed for Ramsey Business Park 95 <br />include the construction of McKinley Street and Uranium Street, along with watermain and <br />storm and sani .tjary sewer. The improvements are necessary to provide municipal services <br />to the existing business incubator as well as three other developments which are anticipated <br />to include Trend Scientific, Command Corporation and Carbon Product Technology. Bids <br />were opened arid presented with this case. Staff is recommending awarding the bid to <br />W.B. Miller wfio is the low bidder and has done work in the City before.
