Councilmember <br /> <br /> introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />-- RESOLUTION #95-08- <br /> <br />iRESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # TO REZONE CERTAIN <br />iPROPERTY FROM B-3 HIGHWAY BUSINESS TO ~ URBAN RESIDENTIAL <br /> <br />' WHEREAS, the City received an application to rezone certain property in accordance <br />with Section 9.03.03 of the Ramsey City Code; and <br />iNOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That Super Bowl, Inc. and Fitzsimonds Builders, Inc., hereinafter referred to as <br />"Applicants", have properly applied to rezone certain property from B-3 Highway Business <br />to R-1 Urban Residential. <br /> <br />That the Planaing and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section <br />9.03.03 of the City Code on August I, 1995 and that said public hearing was properly <br />advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />That the property proposed to be rezoned is legally described as follows: <br /> <br />~iOF <br /> <br /> The south 189.4 feet of Lot 6, Block 4, Riverside West, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />("the Subject Property"). <br /> <br />That the total area of the Subject Property to be rezoned is approximately .9 acres in size. <br />That the Subject Property is currently zoned B-3 Highway Business. <br /> <br />That the adjacent properties to the north and west are zoned B-3 Highway Business.and the <br />properties to the south and east are zoned R-1 Urban Residential. <br /> <br />That the parcels to the south and east were rezoned from Business to Residential in 1988 <br />and platted into urban size lots in 1990. <br /> <br />That the Subject Property has received final plat approval from the City of Ramsey as Lots <br />2 and 3, Block 1, Riverview Bowl. <br /> <br />That the proposed zoning amendment wiI1 not substantially adversely impair the use or <br />market value of any surrounding property. <br /> <br />That the proposed zoning amendment will not change the essential character of the area. <br /> <br />The morion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />
