RESOLUTION #95-08-_ RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR IMPROVEME,~IT PROJECT #95-18 (THE CONSTRUCTION OF WATERMAIN AND SANITARY SEWER TO SERVICE THE PROPOSED RIVER/47 PLAZA ADDITION) WHEREAS, Resolution//95-07-145, dated July 11, 1995, authorized the preparation of plans and specifiaations for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of watermain and sanitary sewer tol service the proposed River/47 Plaza Addition, bids were received, opened and tabulated accordihg to law on August 18, 1995; and WHEREAS, the following quotes were received Bidder Amount of Bid Engineer's Estimate AND WHEREAS, it appears that is the lowest responsible bidder. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY,',ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract With in the name of the City of Ramsey for the construction of watermain and sanitary sewer to service the proposed River/47 Plaza Addition in the amount of . 2) That the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next to lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:. and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 22nd day of August, 1995.
