I I I I I I ! I I I I I I I I I I i I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #95-08- RESOLUTIONi APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO W.B. MILLER, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #95-11 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on March 28, 1995; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted a resolution awarding the bid to W.B. Mille~, Inc. for the construction of Improvement Project #95-11; and WHEREi~S~ the value of the work performed has been certified by the Project Engineer to be $250,117.75; and WHERE~S, the City Engineer recommends partial payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of $141,861.36. NOW THEREI~ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, iANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. for the constructibn of Improvement Project #95-11 in the amount of $141,861.36. 2) That the (2ity Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this partial payment. 3) That the ..total amount of this partial payment is not included in resolutions approving payment Of bills for the month of August 1995. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this res61ution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Beyer upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 22nd day of August, 1995.
