In the review of these properties, I have made the following <br />observations: <br /> <br />Property A <br /> <br />This is a Small triangular property located to the north of Armstrong Boulevard N.W. It <br />appears that it was created with the reconstruction of Armstrong Boulevard N.W. Since <br />the lot to ithe north (PIN 08-32-25-43-0002) has been developed, this property should be <br />attached to that property. A drive-by inspection indicates that the property owner, to the <br />north, is rhaintaining this area. .. <br /> <br />Property B <br /> <br />This is a gan'ow (15' wide) strip of property located to th~ east of the old cemetery by the <br />new AE~ facility. The City should acquire this property as it is unclear whether or not any <br />graves ~e located on the property. After acquisition, a lot combination should be <br />completed with the cemetery lot to prevent any future problems. <br /> <br />Property C <br /> <br />This property is currently traveled as a section of Azurite Street N.W. With the pending <br />construction of McKinley Street, west of Sunfish Lake BOulevard N.W., the City may <br />want to c~mplete a subdivision to correctly align all of the streets. The City is currently in <br />the proce~;s of having the property transferred by the owner to the City for use as Azurite <br />Street N.W. We may want to terminate that transfer to avoid the back taxes that would <br />come due~with its completion. The City should acquire the property. <br /> <br />Based upon the/'eview of the three properties, the City should acquire properties B and C and <br />recommend the ihle of property A to the abutting property owner: I have completed the required <br />forms for these actions, including a resolution for Council's adoption at their next meeting. <br />Pending your apl~roval, I will forward these documents to Jo for in~clusion in the agenda. <br /> <br /> DG/ aj <br /> <br /> <br />
