I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> i <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> ! <br /> <br />Councilmember ._ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> : RESOLUTION #95-09- <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION <br />OF PROPOSEDf ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #95-01 (SEALCOAT <br />AND CRACK FILL RIVER'S BEND 1ST, 2ND, AND PLAZA ADDITIONS) <br /> <br /> WHEREA~, a c~_,ntract has been let and costs have been determined with reference to the sealcoafing <br />and crack filling of giver s Bend 1st, 2nd, and Plaza Additions, and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in <br />the making of such '~,anprovement amount to $23,273 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $23,273. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the City of Ramsey is~ereby declared <br /> to be $11,63~ and the portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property ov~ners is declared <br /> to be $11,637. . ' <br /> <br />2) That the pfir~cipal of the assessments shall be in annual installments extending over a period of three <br /> (3) years; th~ first of the installments to be payable with property taxes payable in 1996 and shall bear <br /> interest at tl3re rate of 10.75 percent per annum from the date of the adoption of the assessment <br /> resolution. -. <br /> <br />3) That the City Administrator shall calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such <br /> improvemerg against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without <br /> regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and shall ~e in the city offices a copy of such proposed <br /> assessment for public inspection. '. <br /> <br />4) That the City Administrator shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the <br /> Ramsey City Council thereof. <br /> <br />The motion for the ~idopfion of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote beinl~ taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />and the following a~tained: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 12th <br />day of September, 1995. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City AdminiStrator <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
