I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #95-09- RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED!ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #95-04 (SEALCOAT AND CRACK FILL 153RD AVENUE N.W. FROM C.R. #5 TO C.R. #56) WHEREAS~ a contract has been let and costs have been determined with reference to the sealcoating and crack filling o~ 153rd Avenue N.W. from County Road #5 to County Road #56, and the expenses incurred or to be in~rred in the making of such improvement amount to $35,646 so that the total cost of the improvement will ~ $35,646. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOI{A COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the po~on of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the City of Ramsey is hereby declared to be $35,247 and the portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared to be $399. 2) That the pri~.cipal of the assessments shall be in annual installments extending over a period of three (3) years; tM first of the installments to be payable with property taxes payable in 1996 and shall bear interest at He rate of 10.75 percent per annum from the date of the adoption of the assessment resolution. ~ 3) That the Ci[y Administrator shall calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cas~ valuation, as provided by law, and shall ftc in the city offices a copy of such proposed assessment for public inspection. 4) That the City Administrator shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Ramsey City, Council thereof. The motion for the aOopfion of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being!taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voied against the same: and the following wa, re absent: and the following abgtained: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 12th day of September, 1995.
