I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #95-09- <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION <br /> OF PROPOSED iASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #95-05 (SEALCOAT <br /> AND CRACK FILL NATURE VIEW ADDITION) <br /> <br /> WHEREASi a contract has been let and costs have been determined with reference to the sealcoating <br />and crack filling of l~lature View Addition, and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such <br />improvement amour~t, to $4,289 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $4,289. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOI{A COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the po~on of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the City of Ramsey is hereby declared <br /> to be $494 agd the portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared to <br /> be $495. <br /> <br />2) That the prir~ ,ipai of the assessments shall be in annual installments extending over a period of three <br /> (3) years; thq first of the installments to be payable with property taxes payable in 1996 and shall bear <br /> interest at ~e rate of 10.75 percent per annum from the date of the adoption of the assessment <br /> resolution. <br /> <br />3) That the City Administrator .shall calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such <br /> improvemen~against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without <br /> regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and shall ~e in the city offices a copy of such proposed <br /> assessment f6r public inspection. <br /> <br />4) That the City Administrator Shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the <br /> Ramsey CitylCouncil thereof. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption.of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being ~aken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following w~re absent: <br /> <br />and the following abltained: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 12th <br />day of September, 1995. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
