I I I I I I I I Councilmcmber introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #95-09- RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED i ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #95-07 (SEALCOAT AND CRACK FIEL DELLWOOD HILLS) WHEREAS~ a contract has been let and costs have been determined with reference to the sealcoating and crack filling of! Dellwood Hills, and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amoum~ to $2,717 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $2,717. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOK~A COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the port!on of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the City of Ramsey is hereby declared to be $358 agd the portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared to be $359. 2) That the prin~;ipal of the assessments shall be in annual installments extending over a period of three (3) years; th{first of the installments to be payable with property taxes payable in 1996 and shall bear interest at the rate of 10.75 percent per annum from the date of the adoption of the assessment resolution. 3) That the city Administrator shall calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvemenlagainst every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and shall ~e in the city offices a copy of such proposed assessment for public inspection. 4) That the CitF Administrator shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Ram~y City}Council thereof. The motion for the a~option of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following void against the same: and the following were absent: and the f~)llowing abstained: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 12th day of September, 1995.
