ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #95-08 (SEALCOAT <br />AND CRACK FILL SORTEBERG'S 6TH ADDITION) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS., a contract has been let and costs have been determined with reference to the sealcoating <br />and crack filling oflSorteberg's 6th Addition, and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of <br />such improvement a~nount to $7,138 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $7,138. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the po~on of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the City of Ramsey is hereby declared <br /> to be $1,419! and the portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared to <br /> be $1,419. <br /> <br />2) That the priOcipal of the assessments shall be in annual installments extending over a period of three <br /> (3) years; th{ first of the installments to be payable with property taxes payable in I996 and shall bear <br /> interest at the rate of 10.75 percent per annum from the date of the adoption of the assessment <br /> resolution. : <br /> <br />3) That the Ci.~y Administrator shall calculate the proper amount to be .specially assessed for such <br /> improvemeqt against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without <br /> regard to calh valuation, as provided by law, and shall fide in the city offices a copy of such proposed <br /> assessment t~r public inspection. <br /> <br />4) That the Ciiy Administrator shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the <br /> Ramsey City Council thereof. <br /> : <br />The motion for the qdoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 12th <br />day of September, ~995. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
