I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmembcr <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #95-09- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ~95-07 (SEALCOAT AND CRACK FILL DELLWOOD HILLS) <br /> <br /> WHEREASi by a resolution passed by the City Council on September 12, 1995, the City <br />Administrator was dkected to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of improvements to Dellwood <br />Hills; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS,ithe City Administrator has notified the City Council that such proposed assessment <br />has been completed agd filed in his office for public inspection. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOK~ COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That a publicihearing shall be held on Tuesday, September 26, 1995 at 7:00 p.m. at the Ramsey <br />Municipal Ce~hter, to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons <br />owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with <br />reference to sfich assessment. <br /> <br />2) That the Cit~ Administrator is hereby directed to cause a notice of the public hearing on the <br /> proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the <br /> hearing, and ,~e shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. He shall also cause <br /> mailed noticelto be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less than <br /> two weeks pri~r to the hearings. <br /> <br />3) That the owna. r of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment <br /> by the Counts Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment of such property, with interest accrued to <br /> the date of pa~,ment to the City, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is <br /> paid within 30 days from the adoption of the assessment. The owner may at any time, thereafter, <br /> pay to the City the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to <br /> December 3 liof the year in which such payment is made.
