Susan would like to establish ~nd operate a dog grooming service in the lower level of her home. Staff notified all persons north and south of the subject parcel from Armstrong Blvd. to HedgehOg Street N.W. Observations:, In accordance with the City's regulations for home occupations, the area devoted to the business would not excee~ 20% of the total floor area of the home. The employees would be restricted to the residents of the home. The driveway is large enough to provide a sufficient amount of off- street parking forla 4-customer/day operation. The proposed pe.nnit requires all animals to be kept inside the home until they are picked up by their owners. Also in accordaPce with Section 9.11.04 (Home Occupations) of the Ramsey City Code, if granted, the perr~it would not be transferrable from person to person or property to property. The Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on September 5 and there were no verbal or written comment/l submitted regarding the request. [ Recommendatii~n: The Planning Commission and City Staff recommend approval of the request.
