Mr. Schroeder
stated Staff r~commends no change in the Building Maintenance Worker's assignment.
Since it has b~en suggested that Recording Secretary Jo Thieling should be afforded the
opportunity t0~ pick up additional duties with the vacancy in the Administrative Services
Manager position, it is recommended, pursuant to Council policy, that Ms. Thieling
conduct a review of her Time Spent Profile (TSP) to verify the job placement valuation of
tasks conductixt by the position since February 13, 1995. (The Council may also wish to
recognize any improvement here by a change in title.) Concerning the request for an
Administrativ~e Assistant, Mr. Schroeder stated he would hire someone in a technical-type
position to aceomplish those tasks not already being done by the Finance Officer and the
Senior Accountant and to also be able to do code enforcement. He noted this would be
under the sarrle classification as the Building Inspector. He, therefore, concluded that the
organizational chart presented remains the same with the exception of the addition of
Administrative Assistant.

Personnel

Committee/July 11, 1995
