I <br />I <br /> <br />I Case <br /> <br />INTRODUCE ORDINANCE TO AMEND CITY CODE REGARDING <br />CONSTRUCTION WORK HOURS <br /> By: Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On September 26, 1995, the City Council reviewed a proposed ordinance to amend City <br />Code to change the permitted construction work hours from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m to 7:00 <br />a.m. to 10:0C~ p.m. Per Council's direction of September 12, language had been added to <br />the amendment to allow the City Administrator (or his/her designee) to grant permission for <br />6:00 a.m. start times under extenuating circumstances. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />Per the Council's review and discussion on September 26, the proposed ordinance has <br />been further amended to include language that would allow Sunday construction activity by <br />individual homeowners. <br /> <br />The most recent draft of the ordinance is enclosed for Council's review. <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff reCOmmends introduction of the ordinance at this time. <br /> Council Action: <br /> <br /> Motion to: <br /> Introduce an ordinance to amend City Code rgulations for construction work <br /> hourS. <br /> <br />Review Cheoklist: <br />CC: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />10/10/95 <br /> <br /> <br />
