I i I I I I I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION g95-10-_ RESOLUTION ~APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO ARCON CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, IN~. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT g94-20 (THE EXTENSION OF SANITARY SLOWER AND WATER TO THE PROPOSED ANOKA ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE FACILITY AND ENERGY PARK ADDITION) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project by Resolution ~94-09-214 on Sq)tember 27, 1994; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution g95-08-169 on August 8, 1995, a,~arding the bid to Arcon Construction Company, Inc. for the extension of sanitary sewer and water ~ the proposed Anoka Electric Cooperative Facility and Energy Park Addition (Improvement Project g94-20); and WHERE~S, previous payment has been made to Arcon Construction Company, Inc. in the amount of $147,594.07. WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected and recommends partial payment to Arcon Construction Company, Inc. in the amount of $387,609.58. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: l) That the CitY Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Arcon Construction Company, Inc. for the ;extension of sanitary sewer and water to the proposed Anoka Electric Cooperative Facility arid Energy Park Addition (Improvement Project #94-20) in the amount of $387,609.58. 2) 3) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the morlth of October, 1995. 4) That the Ci~ of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
