l I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I i I I Councilmember · introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION g95-11- _ RESOLUTION 7kPPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO H & M ASPHALT CO. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #95-16 (BITUMINOUS SURFACING OF BISON STREET BETWEEN 171ST AVENUE AND 173RD AVENUE) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on August 22, 1995; and ~ WHEREAS, on September 26, 1995, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution g95-09-231 awarding the bid to H & M Asphalt Co. for the bituminous surfacing of Bison Street betwaen 171st Avenue and 173rd Avenue (Improvement Project g95-16); and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends parti~ payment to H & M Asphalt Co. in the amount of $29,956.45. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to H & M Asphalt Co. for the bituminou~sttrfaeing of Bison Street between 171st Avenue and 173rd Avenue (Improvement Project g95-16) in the amount of $29,956.45. 2) That the Igity Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administr~or to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the motith of November, 1995. 4) That the Ci~ of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the iadopfion of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember ~ __ and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said reaOlution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 14th day of No~ember, 1995.
