Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION g95-11-__ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 2ND PARTIAL PAYMENT TO H & M ASPHALT FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT g95-I$ (CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWER, <br />WATERMAIN, STORM SEWER AND STREETS TO SERVICE FOX KNOLL) <br /> WHEREA~, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on June 27, <br />1995; and <br /> <br /> WHEREA~, on July 25, 1995, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution <br />#95-07-159 award~g the bid to H & M Asphalt. for the construction of sanitary sewer and <br />watermain, storm ~wer and streets to service Fox Knoll (Improvement Project g95-15); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, previous payment has been made for Improvement Project g95-15 to H & M <br />Asphalt in the amount of $64,436.12; and <br /> <br /> WHEREA~, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends parti~ payment to H & M Asphalt in the amount of $45,666.48. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ~NOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the C~ity Council hereby authorizes partial payment to H & M Asphalt for the <br /> construcfio~ of sanitary sewer and watermain, storm sewer and streets to service Fox Knoll <br /> (Improvement Project g95-15) in the amount of $45,666.48. <br /> <br />2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br /> Administratgr to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />3) That the totail amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills <br /> for the mon~ of November, 1995. <br /> <br />4) That the Ci~ of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the .adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />__ and upon v~te being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following v~ted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said re~alufion was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 14th day of Noqember, 1995. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
