PUBLIC WORKS MONTHLY REPORT FOR
SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER 1995
By: Merle Mevissen, Public Works Supervisor

The summer program has almost come to an end; we're still doing some grading of dirt streets and
will be doing so until the ground freezes.

The fall sweeping is done except for some construction areas in which we are sweeping and billing
the developer for mai time.

We did some ditch cleaning and storm sewer maintenance on an as-needed basis. We didn't get to
Zone//3 this year, although I haven't observed any problems or back-ups on my drive-thru
inspections.

Building maintenanc9 consisted of moving from the old shops and removing the heaters and piping
to possibly be used iti the metal warehouse building at the new facility.

Equipment mainten~ce consisted of getting all of the equipment ready for winter, and everything
is ready for plowing and sanding. The salt and sand is mixed and ready.

We've got most of the street signs installed. Some are still on order, but we will have the posts
installed so the signs ;can be put on the posts when received during the winter.

7
