4) <br /> <br />Alloy Recovery - Conditional use permit restricts hours of receiving to 7:00 a.m. - <br />8:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday; melt operations permitted 7 days a week, 24 <br />hours/day. Permit requires removal of debris on access roads resulting from the <br />operation to be removed within 24 hours of notification. <br /> <br />Notification: <br /> <br />The request for an amendment to thc terms of the conditional use permit required a public hearing. <br />State statute requires notification of public hearings to persons owning property with.in 350 feet of <br />the subject property. In this case, property owners within 500 feet of the subject property were <br />notified. The Planning Commission conducted the public hearing on November 9 and there were <br />no verbal or written comments submitted regarding the request. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />The Planning Commission and City Staff recommend amending the terms of the conditional use <br />permit to eliminate restrictions on hours of operation and to require removal of debris on the road <br />on an as needed basis.
